We are looking for a full-time Operations Specialist to join our Technology team in our Seattle, WA office. This position is instrumental in supporting our advisory teams and an excellent opportunity to develop within the financial services industry while providing upward mobility for multiple career paths. This role is pivotal in helping our financial operations and ensuring the seamless execution of various back-office functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of economic systems, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Black Diamond data to ensure accurate portfolio performance reporting and provide deep expertise in the platform.
- Conduct research and analysis on performance calculations to ensure accurate, compliant reporting for client portfolios.
- Oversee tax basis reporting, ensuring adherence to tax laws and accurate record-keeping.
- Reconcile data between Orion and other systems to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
- Classify assets correctly and maintain up-to-date records of private investments, providing regular monthly and quarterly reports.
- Develop and maintain client portals, including document postings, ensuring user-friendly access to financial information.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness in financial reporting and data management.
- Proficient in financial systems, particularly in Black Diamond and Orion, with a solid understanding of tax reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Effective time management skills, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Background in financial services is preferred.

- This role is a hybrid in-office/remote work and full-time position in our Seattle office reporting to the firm’s Director of Technology.
